About Me

sandyvint: It took me forever to get here so I could edit my About Me. They certainly don't make it easy. Someday, I will get lost in cyberspace and will never be heard from again. I am a registered nurse in a Labor and Delivery in a Level 2 hospital, which means we have an Intensive Care Nursery. I have three children. The oldest, a son, is almost 35 and lives in Texas where he has just passed his test to be a stockbroker. He's truly getting in on the ground floor since everybody's stocks are in the toilet. My second oldest is a daughter who will soon be 33 and has presented us with our first grandchild, a girl who is the cutest baby in the world. She and her husband, a podiatrist, live in Missouri. My youngest is another daughter who is almost 22 and has recently moved out. We do have a revolving door, however, so she might be back. My husband was a teacher for over thirty years and has been retired for two years. He does a lot of substitute teaching while he is waiting for me to be old enough to retire. I look forward to each birthday as it brings me closer to retirement.
